ENFJs are charismatic, warm and insightful individuals. Sensitive to people’s motivations and needs, they use this knowledge to bring out the potential in others.
They are great communicators, using precise language and appropriate words to articulate their deeply held visions and beliefs.
They make great team players and enjoy being cordial work relationships. At work, they are serious and driven, ensuring that the tasks given to them are done properly.
ENFJs are warm, encouraging and supportive friends. They are loyal friends who are committed to the well-being of their loved ones. They lend a listening ear to friends who are in distress, sometimes long before help is asked for.
Their compassion, coupled with their insight into human nature, makes them great counselors and coaches. They are likewise energized by encouragement and affirmation from others, but can be drained quickly with tension or criticism in a relationship.
ENFJs are imaginative people who are energized and enthused by possibilities. They are most inspired by humanitarian causes and social causes that will impact the world in a positive way. They possess what is traditionally known as intuition or ‘sixth sense’.
They form unconscious connections and patterns and make conclusions about events that their conscious minds have not justified. Hence, their hunches are often accurate, but they may be frustrated if constantly asked to explain them.
They usually have some interest in the arts: literature, music, painting, or the like, seeing these art forms as a way of expressing their complex self beautifully. Their communication skills are second to none.
They are typically strong in the spoken word, and gravitate to roles like Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
ENFJs are organized and planned. Although they may have a messy workplace at times, they keep schedules and budget finances well. However, their desire for closure and organization makes them appear overbearing, imposing or bossy to other types.
Their Thinking (T) is the weakest of their mental functions. This means that under stress, their Thinking function may come out in an undeveloped or a childish manner. They may become too critical of themselves, questioning their ability or competence. They may also become brash and abrasive in their interactions with others
